What really happens when you buy a car?

I am a 21 veteran of the car business. I have seen it all!!! I started out on the showroom floor as a salesman. Over the course of my career, I worked all the way up to general manager. While many dealers, for the most part, are above board and ethical, there are some that are not. Most peoples opinion of "car guys" are they will lie, cheat, and steal from their own mother to sell a car. While there is quite a few of these types, most car guys good people. However, sometimes the most honest car guys misinform their customers. This comes from lack of training and product knowledge. With that said, I have also seen the ones that will sell their first born! What are some of your scenarios when buying a car? What has been your experience?
